The 2019 Chicago Auto Show took place this past February and brought lots of new and exciting models into the spotlight. Here are some of the highlights from Ford’s exciting debuts at the Chicago Auto Show.
2020 Ford Explorer
The 2020 Ford Explorer should be available this summer, and with four engine options, six trims, and a long list of considerate amenities, the new Ford Explorer will be a compelling option. The SUV seats six or seven passengers is available in rear- or all-wheel drive and offers with features like heated rear seats, navigation, and a panoramic sunroof.
2019 Ford Ranger
The mid-size truck segment is expanding, and the return of Ford’s mid-size pickup the Ford Ranger made an appearance at the Chicago Auto Show. It’s been six years since the Ford Ranger’s last new American model, so this 2019 model is all new. It features a new 10-speed automatic transmission with a 2.3-liter twin-turbo four-cylinder. There will be plenty of standard and available features, like the Ford SYNC® 3 system, in-cabin Wi-Fi, a rearview camera, and other advanced safety tools.
2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
The fastest arrival at the Chicago Auto Show this year was the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. This is the Mustang for drivers who simply can’t get enough power. Under its hood, the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 boasts a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 that’s said to deliver more than 700 horsepower and take the car from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
